I haven't updated because things were going so well after talking with Rick that I didn't feel the need to document the progress. Apparently I was wrong.
After shipping everything, I waited a few days and called Rick to make sure it was received. He assured me that everything was received and had been sent to the California office to do the review. Apparently he only prepares the documents.
I was also told that no claims would be processed until the review is finished.
I called today to check on the status and they said they are still waiting for papers from Associates in Family Medicine.
Plan of action:
- Call Associates in Family Medicine, find out if they've sent the medical records
- Called Rick, left a voice mail. Perhaps the review notes just haven't been updated.
